Kardox - The Kurdish View

The Kurdish view of Middle Eastern politics

Location: Kurdistan - NOT IRAQ!, Kurdistan - NOT IRAQ!, Iraq

I am a 30 year old businessman in Hawler (Arbil, north Iraq). I have lived in Europe for almost 15 years, but now I work for a family investment company. Surely I would like to let know you people more, but I want to stay in once peace. I love bloging because it gives me the satisfaction to write about my thoughts.

Here I stand, where do you stand?

I am a liberal, I believe that every man should be free to think, speech, teach for the common good and respect human rights. Every man and women is equal.

I am a socialist; I believe that public services should be government controlled and provide the same or better quality of service to its people. Such as schools, hospitals, police, army. Etc.

I am a capitalist, I believe in free trade and low tax. I believe that with low tax we can create many jobs. (By the way the tax rate is 0 here, some “tax” are included when you sell you house but it’s just symbolic).

I am SURELY a nationalist; I believe that every inch of Kurdistan should be controlled by Kurds for Kurds. ( With minority rights for Assyrians, Turkmen).

I am an environmental; I believe we should protect our nature from pollution and toxic waste. We are Kurds, and our religion Zerdesht was a true environmental philosophy.

So I am a liberal socialist capitalist environmental secular nationalist.
